Holy crap are Penrith looking good for next season, four quality signings as well as their under 20's doing well this season. Things looking up for them.

They have so many shithouse players though in first grade, going to take longer than a season to turn it around IMO. Beyond their front row and Lewis their forwards are largely terrible, and their backline beyond Jennings and Coote is pretty bad. Definitely a positive to have quality youth/NSW cup but good performances there dont always translate to quality in first grade.

I think they'll be quite strong long term, Gus and Cleary a doing a good job slowly starting to change the culture and clear out the shite, but I think it will take longer than a season to turn it around.
