Guess its a bit of a risk v reward with Seggy. Has the potential to be one of the most devastating rakes in the comp if he can keep his shit together. Can understand Griffin taking the more conservative option in Wallace who is a solid player with a very professional attitude. Seems to me that Seggy needs pretty strong guidance and support to stay on the straight and narrow which was never going to come from Griffin - especially given the lack of respect that Seggy showed towards Griffin as a result of his demotion. All the best to the Pennies for 2017.

he is the best running dummy half you will see.. The problem is he takes a few steps everytime so as such recievers over run the pass or have no time. Getting him to fix that part of his game is what will see him a great signing or not. Regardless Buy shares in Northies is my advice

Think there will be a few big forwards and a nut-job half-back doing cartwheels over Belmore way if that's the case Snoop. Worst passing game i've seen from a first grade hooker in years.
Do you remember last year when he threw a shocker to the nut-job halfback Reynolds who subsequently knocked the pill forward. Reynolds was shitty and after picking the ball back up threw it back at the kents head.

Still chuckle over that one.

Reynolds might be the one replacing him at 9. Woolford is showing all the signs but Des is unsure he can play the full 80. It could also pave the way for Josh Cleeland to start in the halves

I was hoping that Cleeland would of kick on for us. Gee he put in when I watched him in his Ipswich days. I thought he had more potential then our other Ipswich Jets conscript.

Wallace does what the coach wants unlike Seg. He also doesn't bring cartons of beer to training like a park footballer. Then once he was dropped he trawled FB and Twitter and liked any anti Griffin post he could find. Then the consorting with Bikies, The being booted from Panthers on an almost monthly basis. From Round 1 he was never going to be re-signed well before Wallace moved to hooker

Does he like a durry too?

Sounds like a risk but I reckon flanno pulls him into line.

We desperately need him now Barba is gone.

This.

Brilliant runner but if he isn't at his best he hurts your momentum to much with his poor service. Even in 2015 our best peformances after the opening 3 rounds were when Api was playing hooker.

If he can switch on look out but if he cant he wont come close to being the hooker Ennis was for you.

Lol I literally didn't know any of this besides the bikies thing and I was still happy to see the back of him purely on his form and that of Wallace.

I guess this attitude is why he can go from Dally M hooker of the year to not wanted in a little over 12 months. Maybe this will wake him up a bit.

Haha its sounds silly but I never thought he could be a worse hooker than Peter Wallace and he turned out to be.
Fair fair, think it's more Wallace gelled with the young team with X Factor all over the park.
With Barba gone, Seggy causing havoc around the ruck is a massive offset for allowing Holmes to mark his own at the back

Ive no idea how seggy will play for you guys next year as he is capable of anything but if he plays like he did for us for the bulk of 15 and all of 16(until he got dropped) then you wont be happy.

He was literally the difference between our forwards winning the middle battle or not a lot of games. Panthers fans were noticing this back in 15 as well.

Only one way to find out I guess
