Head is responsible for the bad selectiosn with Illawarra he is doing the same stupid shit Logan done thats what got him sacked and Head is heading down the same path as some officials are not happy with him.

Yeah I don't know what the deal is there, but I saw Head running water for 1st grade last week whilst his team were bein g flogged against Wyong Roos. As coach you would expect him to be with HIS team. No wonder they are performing like crap, maybe they just don't have a coach.
Maybe Head doesn't want the job (anymore) and would prefer to just be a runner for 1st grade, if so, get him out now and appoint a coach for these guys, after all they are the reigning premiers and deserve more respect.

Sele sticking to the little things

St George Illawarra Dragons debutant Hame Sele will continue to stick to the little things as he looks to face the North Queensland Cowboys at WIN Stadium, Wollongong on Easter Saturday.

Sele made his debut from the bench in the Dragons' 35-10 against the Sea Eagles in a half-hour stint. The Kingsgrove Colts made 77 metres and 16 tackles.

I'm looking forward to Kerr getting his turn. I think he is best suited to eventually be in our prop rotation. Big strong and aggressive. If Vaughan took him under his wing, Kerr could be a winner.

They are a really poorly coached side and it's such a shame considering they have arguably a better side than last year. Their forward pack has some very classy players like Kerr, Leilua, Hind and Lawrie that should be dominating every game and allowing their backs like Nona, Field and Dufty to run riot, instead it seems to be every man for himself and very unstructured. Demetriou would have them firing. I just watched their last game against Wests which was a very undisciplined game from both sides, it was like the ball was a big cake of soap. One of the commentators remarked that a few players were out to get themselves on the highlights reel and playing one out and he would have been referring to Fai Fai Loa and Herbert who kept running into dummy half at every opportunity to make runs whether required or not - Havili should have taken control of that - we'd have 3 or 4 forwards ready to hit it up and FFLoa with his silly hair cut would come in looking for glory. You won't see on the highlights reel FFLoa continually racing up in defence and missing everyone but you will see the opposition tries scored down his side and not just last week. Glad he's not in 1st grade.
On the flip side Leilua needs a run in 1st grade, he would go really well with a good team around him - his touches are always class, great off-loads, backing up , hole and angle running and solid defence. He ran a great line to collect a short ball from Nona and burst through a tiny gap, then was ankle tapped but got a miracle ball away for the ever present Field to go in under the posts. He'd be great at getting us second phase play making our attack even better. We're traveling well but it wouldn't hurt to have him on the bench.

He will get a run during rep period.
As we are bound to loss quite a few

Lawrie has been the Cutters best forward this year and is now finding himself named in the 21 for first grade . He is a class young front rower . Kerr is huge young bloke but when I have seen him he seems very slow laterally and has a bit to go to get up to speed . He would be found out badly in first grade at this stage .

The order of our young middle forwards would be Sele , Lawrie then Kerr . And our young edge forwards Host then Leilua .

I agree we got sucked into the hype of theBulldogs wanting him - he's too soft as a forward - esp in the defending dept!! No doubt he has offloading skills but I prefer an uncompromising pack of forwards who are tough and unforgiving :
Packer
Vaughan
Simms
THOMPSON
Frizzell
De Bellin
Ah Mau

More of the above please - no powder puffs!!!

Blacksafake dont worry.
His nickname is blocker because he plays like Roach.
Hard uncompromising player.
Lawrie is way too small for a prop at 103kg he will end up being a hard running 2nd rower w Simms going to Prop next year .. Lawrie is a clone of Josh Jackson - hard working, hard running

Only just turned 20.

Also, Luc is heading in to Matt Mundine territory.

I think when we signed him, we were crying out for some variation in the forwards to help us score some points.

Come 2017, we're all about the power game and we're leading the league in points scored.

Hence perhaps, the need for a finesse forward is not so attractive any more.

Did I say he was a prop .
All I said was that he plays hard and his nickname is blocker.
He is playing 13 a lot so I dout he will be a 2nd rower at the dragons.
I have seen him play all bar one game this year and he hasn't play 2nd row yet.
