As someone who has dislocated their shoulder over 40 times, he wouldn't have felt much whilst warm and full of adrenalin. Probably had a painkiller at half time too.... but it would have killed him when he went to bed
Origin is awesome but it has come to a stage where how much tougher can it get...
like 10 players are f**ked from it
I'm not sure if Morris fractured his scapula though, if it was his humerus then it would have been extremely painful particularly tackling. With one dislocation I did fracture my scapula, tear the labrum and cause a bankart lesion. The humerous sat above my pec.
My point is once relocated, and it seems he had a subluxation that pretty much went back in, but once back in a lot of pain goes away. Adrenalin does disguise ligament pain i.e. hyperextension. It does however get extremely painful the next day
Dugan played with a pimple.
End thread.

In your case you would have had the cold air and climate to help initially. The adrenaline thing does come into play considerably.
I shattered my right tibia into five pieces snow skiing. The only indication that something was wrong was when I stood up, the ski boot swayed around when my knee was stationary.
Pain didn't set in until over an hour.
I wasn't that tough that I continued skiing......

You're right though with adrenaline or alcohol.
People can basically dislocate their shoulder drunk and get it put back in and not remember much about it the next day
