What do you play when "setting the mood"?

I would be inclined to go for a nmber by Sam Cooke or Otis Redding and listening to the album, I think all 11 songs on "thickfrekness" by the Black Keys were recorded with the soundtrack for love in mind.

There is never a good time to listen to either of those 'bands', although I did see Chimaira when they supported In Flames and they weren't too bad.

Slipknot would work best if you wanted to pretend you were better than you were by growing nine penises and putting on a mask before going at it.

Anyway, Devin Townsend's Ocean Machine is perfect!

Also, acid jazz seems to set the mood nicely.
