I'll be honest. Before last season, I didn't think he would make much of a first grader. Im glad to be wrong as his game lifted (particularly in attack) last season. Hope to see his game progress further this season. He always has a dig.

Same as most people today. I just make it up.

In all seriousness I think we had 2 spots and then we signed Sione.

1. Jahream Bula
2. Luke Laulilii
3. Justin Olam
4. Sunia Turuva
5. Jeral Skelton
6. Lachlan Galvin
7. Jarome Luai
8. Terrel May
9. Apisai Koroisau
10. Fonua Pole
11. Samuela Fainu
12. Alex Seyfarth
13. Jack Bird
14. Latu Fainu
15. Royce Hunt
16. Sione Fainu
17. Alex Twal
18. Justin Matamua
19. Kit Laulilii
20. Adam Doueihi
21. Brandon Tumeth
22. Tony Sukkar
23. David Klemmer
24. Tallyn Da Silva
25. Josh Feledy
26. Solomone Saukuru
27. Charlie Staines
28. Starford To’a
29. Brent Naden
30.
That's exactly the same as my list and as I said a couple of posts ago I came up with two??? Probably why I got a modified pass for mathematics in my HSC :)

Also explains why they have several players who are on Train and Trial contracts playing on the trials. If they had no spots, why torture them with high hopes if they can't be upgraded.
They must be considering someone, like Johannssen maybe.

Seyfarth is pretty much taking it up where Garner left off for us

I figure they are leaving a spot open to see what happens.

I think the following guys are our dev players.

Tim Johannssen
Reuben Porter
Heath Mason
Solomona Faataape
Makasini

I reckon that is a great set of dev players. Faataape and Porter can do a job in first grade and the other 3 could turn into quality players.

I'm sure Tim Johannssen missed out and is on a trial and train unless it changed recently. The last I read was this.......

Zero Tackle can now reveal that Johannssen has been rewarded with a train and trial contract for the 2025 season.
He also has an option in his favour for the following year, which will see him either join the Wests Tigers Top 30 roster or move to a development contract for the 2026 season.

If this is true, he could cement a spot in the top 30 with a good show in the trials.
It's actually the first time I get to watch him so hope he gets some decent minutes instead of giving more time to players with no hope of making it this year.

You think they NRL have the best knowledge of what's going on as they still have Miller in our top 30. Maybe because he's still on our books????
For what it's worth, in January the NRL indicated our development players were:

Development players: Alex Lobb (2025), Chris Fa'agutu (2025), Heamasi Makasini (2025, NRL 2026), Lachlan Broederlow (2026), Solomona Faataape (2025), Reuben Porter (2025), Heath Mason (2025), Will Craig (2025)

Our top 30 at that stage were:

TIGERS

2025 squad: Adam Doueihi (2025), Alex Twal (2027), Alex Seyfarth (2025), Apisai Koroisau (2026), Brandon Tumeth (PO 2025), Brent Naden (2025), Charlie Staines (2025), David Klemmer (2025, MO 2026), Fonua Pole (2027), Jack Bird (2026), Jahream Bula (2026, MO 2027), Jarome Luai (2029), Jeral Skelton (2026), Jordan Miller (2026), Josh Feledy (2025), Justin Matamua (2025), Justin Olam (2026), Kit Laulilii (2025), Lachlan Galvin (2026), Latu Fainu (2027), Luke Laulilii (2026), Royce Hunt (2027), Samuela Fainu (2027), Solomone Saukuru (2026), Starford To’a (2026), Sunia Turuva (2027), Tallyn Da Silva (2026), Terrell May (2027)

So maybe that's 1 spots or 2 if Miller is gonesky. I'm going to have a little nap, as my head hurts.

I suppose they lock him in because he gets an extra year. Geez that is a good contract for us.

Navren Willett showing everyone what he's capable of in a tryfest for the Eagles.
I hope this isn't a case of the Wests Tigers letting another future star go and it comes back to bite us.
