Melbourne officials and supporters have just about exhausted all their bullshat excuses for their paltry crowds of late.
They pulld under 10 thousand last nite and bumped the figure over 10 thousand to save face!
They are coming first, they have State reps and Internationals in their team, they can do no wrong in the eyes of the referee and they have News Ltd millions being pumped in year in year out and yet they are too lazy or too disinterested to go out and see them play against a good outfit like Newcastle ( who did not paly like a good outfit last nite but defended like vegies).

The only team to have this sort of advantage over all other clubs was Manly in the Arko and Quayle era.

The Storm crowds would want to start to step up for the rest of the season and enjoy the advantage they currently hold..failure to do so will be a poor reflection upon them!

The Storm crowds were going well for a while too. I dont think 10 thousand is acceptable for a side that has been on the top of the table for the last two years.

I think upping their average from 8k to 11k is more than acceptable.

My advice, wake up to yourselves.

Maybe they have improved now to 4 years ago but how much have they really improved from their first year in the comp?

Agreed on both counts Timmah. The thread poster is a total farkwit and boosting our crowds from what they were has been a good effort IMO. One thing though, our average crowd is closer to 12k atm ;-)

Sharks havent won a premiership and arent currently in the top 8, Storm have won a premiership and been on top of the ladder in the last 2 years. Stupid comparision.

What is the scums crowd average this year?

Obviuosly the knob who posted this thread never checked that before hand because if he did he would've seen that his teams home crowd average is less than ours

Storm: 11,840
Sharks: 11,729

The comparison is with the woeful Sharks fan who made the call to start with. Glasses house, stones etc.

The Storm's crowds HAVE improved over the past year or two - get over yourself.

Parra's average crowds aren't faring that great given their solid position...

Well that's it then it's settled. On that logic we should kick the Storm out of the comp

Is that what David Gallop and the NRL are going to celebrate the fact that the Storm is averaging better than a very poor NSW teams average who havent won a premiership and arent in the 8 while Storm are grand finalists. Pretty poor.

What is the Sharks average compared to those around them on the table?

In fact lets five them a fair shot at it. Canberra have not won a premiership in a while and every home game for them is an interstater for the other team so pretty much reliant on home crowds.

Unlike Melbourne they have not been top notch in the premiership running either so it would negate that excuse

No, you utter farkwit - he's celebrating the fact that they're averaging up to 3,000 better per game than previous years.

You complete, utter moron.

For the uninitiated, Sharko is 'Doctor Death' Rehashed, a bitter, bitter Norths fan, with Vendettas against News Corp and Manly.
