The Daily Telegraph reports the Bulldogs are exploring whether they can fit Hayne under their salary cap and if he can join them on an affordable salary.

The report suggests Hayne is chasing between $700,000 and $800,000 for next season - just outside Parramatta and Canterbury's price range.

But Bulldogs prominent officials have instructed the club to explore if there are any ways to convince him to move to Belmore.

Nup from me.

The way it's looking 2019 is a transitional year to bring on a few of the youngsters like Flanno, Xerri, Katoa, Kennedy, Lumelume. Hence why we signed Morris, but we also have Gray as a backup I suppose. We still have Holmes for another year plus Duggan, Morris, Feki etc. Still half decent squad but not a Premiership winning one.

Can't believe the Hayne love in here. Superstar yeah, 4-5 years ago. Average NRL player since then with a shithouse work ethic and big ego.

If you were choosing a ‘fantasy’ team, who would you rather have on the wing, Hayne or Feki? Or, on the other wing, Hayne or Katoa?

You’d have to choose Hayne, surely...

SHA-KEEs - boom-boom-boom!!!

If Flanno can sell it. My wish list.

Convince Hayne and Dugan they are specialist wingers and kick returners.

Val did enough to keep his fullback role, his role is to improve his defensive reads.

Morris with Hayne.left

Xerri with Dugan right.

JBrailey needs to step up has enough games under his belt, his brother I think will prove good relief.

Backrow needs someone stepping up.

Fifta, Prior, Gallen and Graham.

Plenty of experience, can carry a couple of rookies.

To be honest I'll take anyone at this stage. Dugan and Morris are bound to be on the sidelines at some point. We need more experience and more depth.

Flanagan monitoring the immediate coach swapping situation between Bennett/Seibold. If it is a straight swap for the 2019 season, a lot of players will be unsettled at Brisbane and want to follow Bennett to Souths, however Souths do not have the cap room to accommodate. Flanagan knows we lack depth as it currently stands and will look to pounce on disgruntled Broncos players if the swap comes to fruition for next season.

Do you reckon Brisbane part with close to a million to get Bennett out of there,??

South's will unload players. Taking players off Bennett is laughable. He has deep pockets full of third parties

Maybe would could make a play for Dari-arse. He'd want to be close to his Stepdad.
