Has anyone seen the condition of Josh Morris lately?

I’ve been reliably informed he finished 24th out of 25 players in a road run a few weeks back.

I’m not surprised. I saw a pic in the leader about some charity walk. Let’s just say sky blue isn’t a great colour on him. Looked 15kgs overweight

Lucky he actually completed it at all Snoop. Do you know who he beat home? Funnily enough I still think he could be invaluable at the Sharks mentoring Xerri and co.

Not surprised his fitness sucks after being at the Dogs the last few years and just getting back to pre season training.

No doubt our coaching staff will get him back to full fitness. Besides you can't coach experience. He'll be invaluable to Xerri, Ferris etc.

Moylan plays 1 when Prior is on.

Johnson plays 1 when Woods is on.

Both just pass to Feki or Dugan on kick returns.

However, his greatest strength has always been his running game, which would be allowed to flourish playing a roving role between No.6 and No.1 at the Sharks.

His knee is farked so road running wouldn't be great. More of a power runner than endurance.

I'm not aiming high, I just want to see us get the old outside inside pass thingy sorted. It's been what, two seasons. Once we get that sorted then we can work on the five straight one out hit ups and a kick.

If we can move past that then with a few more key players then our world could become a Georges River Oyster.

He finished it didnt he?...there would be a fair chunk of the 25 who saw it as a race and a need to impress.

Morris has been around a bit longer than those guys and probably has a calendar and knows its still november.
Coming top 10 in a road run 4 months before a ball is kicked probably not top of his preparation plan.

Nobody competes harder than the morris boys. They play hard and they play injured.

He will give us a lot more good moments than bad.

Theres some guys in the game who are honest. No trouble off field. Give everything on. Never not put in. Always do their job. Great for the fans, teammates and club image.
We have bought a few.
Luke Lewis.
Mick Ennis.
Morris will be another one.

They provide a different philosophy to club football than the Val Holmes brigade.
