Starts at 10am.
Firsts on at 6pm.

That is a lot of footy for the rest of the season where it won't be so cold, wet or late at night. It gives us a real chance to play some attacking, fast football based on high level conditions for the time slots.

It is all a Busine$$ now, the whole sport thingy. It is all about TV and the money.

Youse don't realise how munch fun it is to go back in time and attend/ watch the local bush footy.

Sitting on your own chair, cheering for your tribal warriors, watching punch ups (no pushy shovey shit).... abusing refs and touchies, no bunker replays and calls, and catching up with old opponents from other clubs. Annnnd the game itself well, it is usually a good level of quality league.

Some heathens even drink beer at the games.

I absolutely miss this - my 11 years in Bathurst were awesome. Coaching my young fella was a bonus.

Whilst I won’t go as far as calling it a ‘soft’ draw, there’s certainly nothing in there that we can use as an excuse.
The travel doesn’t look excessive, we play most of the ‘middle of the road’ teams twice, so by seasons end, we’ll be well used to being in competitive games - lots of opportunities to hone our skills in finding a way to close out tough, close scoring games.
No excuses - if we’re serious, we should be having a red hot crack at the minor premiership and taking out the comp.
If 2026 is a poor year, then Fitz and a number of players should be shown the door (unless there are extreme circumstances like losing 6 top line players to ACLs or something like that).

Some of those middle of the road teams are expected to improve.. no one really picked Canberra and Canterbury as being top 4 this season.. Penrith were shit for the first half. We were one of the only teams to lose to them. Anything can happen. f**k the soft draw “experts.”You get what you get and you don’t get upset.

The bias of the 8pm timeslot is a joke, The sharks given 1 game for finishing top 4 without even checking the other 3 teams, you can bet they will get more games.

I have kept saying the NRL hate the sharks, nothing has changed there is massive bias by the NRL and channel 9.
