You see nick I don’t follow the NRL I follow a team if my team is to fold Rugby league will be dead to me....most Sharks supporters will feel the same

Sign of the times. I personally love the game but agree I would find it tough if they took my team away.

But no ways could I shift towards afl or nfl as my sport of choice.

Since when has the Nrl considered the fans in it's history of mergers and loss of clubs.

Sure as hell didn't give a flying f**k about Newtown, Souths, Wests, Norths, Balmain, Crushers, Gold Coast, Reds, Mariners, Adelaide....

Perth is an absolute shithole. hopefully the sharks don't have to move there

Terrible place! Terrible beaches, terrible snorkelling reefs, terrible old growth forests, terrible wineries and breweries regions, weathers horrible. Can’t figure why anyone would live here lol.

So, just to be clear, the Sharks still have the salary cap investigation outcome to look forward to?

The unfortunate reality of this, is if the sharks folded and the NRL let them

A lot of sharks fans would leave the code. Many of them might even take their kids with them... some might even get to the grandkids... but mostly the fans lost will be regained in time, and a team in say Perth, and the fans brought into the game via that probably offsets the short term loss

Now obviously the best outcome is the Sharks figure out a way to save themselves, and that’s probably what they’ll do, they’ve always found a way to survive when these issues have cropped up before.
All very good points but I think you're looking at things too myopically.

Yes, the NRL won't have a team in the Shire and their fans will become disenfranchised. But the bigger issue is surely the effect that the loss of those disenfranchised Sharks fans will have on this forum.

Wow, I'm glad no one here is my family member - you're about to pull the plug on the sharks and they've only got tonsilitis.

Gal will get them through this - nude calendar coming up .
