Tackle that Kent, tackle the kent !!!

I know it was a harsh call from me as I very rarely swear.

""Tackle him, tackle him, f**kEN TACKLE HIM !!!! ""

I doubt I'll ever go from terror and horror to joy and ecstasy in such a short space of time like that ever again in my life.

The 2nd one wont be the same but it will still be pretty good.
I thought we were gone

You and 90% of the stadium.... was way way way worse being there than when watching it again on replay.

Particularly if you were in and around the Storm supporters section, given the view they had when the ball was shifted left, they would have thought they'd won it for sure.

I watched it again last night and was still certain we would bottle it in the last minute. I can't even remember what it was like on the day. :)

I honestly thought in that last set by Melbourne we would make the tackle but get penalised, they kick penalty go to extra time lose it there.

My son kept saying dad hooter has gone i am saying ball not dead tackle tackle

I thought we were going to do the last minute fold job ala Manly in the last 90sec at home.Sinking hearts another 5o years?
I remember getting a beer shower when the last tackle was made.
Sort of like a funny bad dream, nah it ain't happening. Then you fall out of bed phew!!!

That ride home in the bus, the walk to the ground from beyond the roundabout, the atmosphere at the ground, then having to go home I was shagged.
The next day back to the ground for the big celebration with the players. Then I knew it was for real.

And now even more so I'm a few hundred dollars out of the kitty for merchandise.

I've been to a lot of sporting events ,atmosphere wise this was way up there.Never experienced anything like it at a rl event.

I went to the Aus v Uruguay soccer in 05 and to me the atmosphere was very similar to that.

Huge crowd supporting one team - Huge moment at the end with massive noise/elation.

That's about the closest thing i can compare it to and that had previously been the best sporting experience of my life.

Sharks easily topped it :)

I was under the scoreboard at the Sharks end so had a great view of the final play, all I had was recurring nightmares of the game v Storm at AAMI park years ago when we led by about 8 I think with about 2 minutes left and lost with a try in that exact corner on the siren and that game I was sitting in a similar spot...

The atmosphere was amazing, definitely the best I have been apart of and I've been to a few games with bigger crowds at the G

Just switched on the raiders final....cracks me up the Viking clap at the start of the game.

If only they knew what was to happen with Ennis!

I just don't want the season / year to finish.

Youse all realise that this is the first time in our clubs history that we don't have to say "Oh well there is always next year" whilst we are kicking the dog.
