Finally listened to coach podcast and agree it was decent. Also a solid reminder pre season to all and sundry, take what you see and hear in the media with a pinch of salt or piss.
Coach in a polite way pretty much gave that impression. Onwards

Bloke in the Bar have done a 7+hour pod with their analysis on each team.
I've copied it from when the Sharks part starts. Goes for about 25-30mins, not a bad listen in having non Sharks supporters give a fairly even unbiased opinion. Pretty much spot on in my eyes.

I am a huge NFL and Eagles fan. I stand by Nicho is the Jalen Hurts of the NRL. The way they both get hammered. Media noise. How they both speak about their mindsets. Our squads are both insanely deep. The Eagles went on a huge run in 2022 season and lost the superbowl. We killed it in 22 from nowhere. Eagles sucked last year, we sucked vs expectations in 23. Eagles were 2-2 this year and people wanted to sack the coach(Fitz can't win finals noise). Eagles beat the f**ken paaaaants off the team who has dominated the last few years Chiefs(Panthers).

Not saying that will happen but jesus there are some similarities.

Alllllso - Sharkies won in 2016. Eagles won 2017.

I know the NRLW isn't for everyone on here, me personally I love it. I have another Sharks team to follow.
I'm an unabashed Jada Taylor fan, another Gamilaraay blood line.
She holds her own here and actually gives a players perspective.
I applaud her. I reckon Kent will keep her on.

Haven’t listened to Shark cast in a few weeks. Appreciate what Sam is trying to do but it just doesn’t do it for me anymore

I think he’s gotten a little bit too close to the club and has to put a lid on what he says so he doesn’t piss someone off

Tend to agree. It’s extremely soft now. We know what it’s like and why but we don’t need the disclaimer each time it’s justified in the cast. Almost like it’s obvious he has to explain why he has that opinion.

I’ll be honest, listening to the bare bones Fins Up once a week will do me - Terry and Dan just tell it like it is, is basic, cheap and nasty on the beat possible way.
The other mob is now just a talk fest

I've tried a few times to listen/watch those Fins Up blokes, the last time a couple of weeks ago. I came away with the same notion as when they first started.
They just don't really know anything about rugby league, especially the little guy, he knows zilch.
I see them feign outrage and try and be "entertaining".
To me they have a view of the game that equates to exactly the same as a punter standing in the SW corner having a few beers that occasionally looks up when a try is scored.
Pretty much the same as your average Farcebook poster.
I wonder if Gary Anderson gets a fee every time they use his song..

The friend of Sharkcast. I love the righteous indignation he has for anything he doesn't like when on Fins Up then behaves like a little 3 day old lamb when he's on Sharkcast. It's funny when a discussion there (Fins Up) starts and the little guy is doing the feigned outrage thing and the big guy then refutes him and a sudden 180 occurs and little guy becomes big guys yes man.
