Sure we need quality finishers. Why the heck didn't we go for Fai Fai Loa instead of the player the Cowboys discarded to get him. This may be a problem, but it is nowhere near our main problem. Blind Freddy can see that our main problem is the halves - no backline organisation, very little quality ball for the outside backs, and rarely feeding off the forwards. Still our preoccupation with our pack could be a problem too. Bash, barge, bash, barge with very little ongoing results. The halves should be feeding off this and using the damage done by the forwards to feed our backs clean ball and room to move.
Whilst I have coached and have obtained qualifications in this regard, I don't pretend to have anywhere near the knowledge of an NRL coach. but sheesh, there appears to be a definite problem in our team. Either the coach can't identify it or, as I assume he can, the players either can't or won't adhere to instructions.
Our team has shown it can perform...........against the Dragons, the Panthers, and the Eagles (until we were robbed) so the problem could be attitude, confidence, lack of communication, conflict between players, or possible lack of respect for the coach or his instructions.
