I think Cronulla bringing in Reni is more about covering their ass over Greg Bird than any genuine interest at having him as a long-term player. The only thing that changes is that he is closer to Carmens so he can get pissed quicker on the weekend!

Carmen's is goneski mate. He'll be down at Northies with Koby Abberton instead.
Sharks are trying to get some bums on seats with this purchase, hoping that Reni will bring a bit of personality to a dull team.
