ffs, it was a NSW cup game

time to move on

some of you guys really need to raise the bar, you think a NSW cup player will solve our half problems

he's playing NSW cup because ha cant get a NRL game in a lowly club like the Sharks

is this how high we are aiming ?

Well the Sharks beat us the last 2 games and are sitting above us at the moment. We can no longer look down at the Sharks. :(

I agree we are crap atm, but the Sharks aren't world beaters and the fact remains the players above him are not world beaters either.

Tim Smith has more points in his right foot than Robson does in his whole body.

For all of Robson's efforts and defence, he just does not have the organisation, nor points in him. Whats the worst that could happen?

He comes back to Parra, and proves no better than Robson, and plays out the season in NSW cup....... or....... he comes back, starts finding gaps for some of our outside backs, particularly one J.Hayne, and manages to give the forward pack just a little more direction.
With Parra's style of play at the moment, I cant see how he wouldnt fit in.. but I know, that boat has sailed etc, but if we don't do something soon, our boat will stay in dry dock for the rest of the season!

Twiz, lets disagree on TIm Smith, but if we think that our current 7 is NRL standard other than some tackling, good luck. Personally, not sure if Tim would be able to reach previous levels, but at least we would look threatening if and when we got in the opposition red zone.

With our current 7 in the same position we look pretty useless

I think Robbo's strength is his defense and he's not a ball player. No 9 at best but my main issue is that we should be raising the bar alot higher than Tim Smith imo.

I dont think anything will happen this year and player like Tim Smith will not sign a 1 year agreement imo.

This year is done and dusted as far as our halves go unfortunately.
