All those years ago when the Sutho to Cronulla line was just a single line the Governements of the day chose the good quality suburbs to have two sided platforms for the red rattlers to pass. The first suburb they picked from the main branch line terminus of Sutherland was good old Gymea. Straight past the rocker filled cesspit of the one sided Kirrawee platform.

And moving east we had Miranda the suburb that had the worst pub in the shire at the time just another one side fits all platform.

Miranda lost is class when they closed down the picture theatre. Nuffin else going for it.

Monopoly Was originally conceived by a woman Academic,professor ,lecturer type who wanted to teach her students about the machinations of capitalism and in particular the real estate market . She made two versions , one much like the present day game and another with a property tax to keep it fair for all participants. A shrewed capatalistic type saw the potential and sold the game to Parker bros. who only released the no no tax version. the lady sued and won as she had copyrighted the game , but Parker bros never did release her other version ..
