It has been, not solely on here either.

As for a new coach, I'm disappointed Jim Dymock has not been mentioned.

He took over the Dogs last year and one of the first things he did was punt Josh Morris to NSW Cup for a few weeks. A few months later he was playing for Australia.

This is the type of ruthlessness we need, someone who is not afraid to ruffle feathers, someone who is not afraid to make the tough calls, someone who will not stand for mediocre performances and will drop players who aren't performing, no matter who they are.
You are right even though it's tough for a coach to do this. This is what should have happened at Easts this year. Anasta and Minichello should have been dropped. Bennett seems to be able to nip things in the bud early then the players are on board or 'buy into' his philosophy.

Dymock was only ever a stop gap until they signed Hasler.

Unfortunately, it doesn't appear we have the finances to sign someone of Hasler's quality i.e Bellamy.

If Sheens was on $450K as reported, surely that is enough to attract someone of significant quality? Then again, it's been reported that the likes of Bellamy and Hasler are on $700K or thereabouts, so maybe not. That is the price you have to pay if you want someone with proven success.

All I was really saying was that Dymock was making ballsy decisions as part of his
job application. Would he make the same big calls if he had the job safely in his hands?
Who knows.

I accept we can't afford Bellamy, but I think this whole thing has been a knee jerk
execution with no real benefit.

The spiteful prick will probably stay just to f**k up the new coach to make his 10th look better `see the new bloke got 13th'. He'll be a destabilising turd to stroke his own f**king ego. f**k we have a bunch of spineless, impotent geniuss running the f**king joint. Why couldn't they just sack him. Weak pricks

If he's collecting his $450K per year, why the f**k wouldn't stay.

From the clubs point of view, why would they just give him the 450k, may as well have him working... thats what they're thinking..

One has to hope that he gets a Head Coach gig somewhere... given his reluctance to move to NZ, that only leaves the 14 Aussie clubs... I think we're stuck with him.

Tim Sheens has been removed as Wests Tigers coach, club chairman David Trodden said today.
The club has announced a restructure of their football department with the Tigers searching for a new head coach.
Trodden told a media conference this afternoon that Sheens has been offered a new role at the club which he has yet to accept or decline.
Tigers chief executive Stephen Humphreys said that the club has not been in contact with any potential replacement including former Dragons coach Nathan Brown.

Humphreys told the media conference Sheens was disappointed by the decision and the club would give him as long as he needed to make his mind up about the new role. Senior Tigers players were advised of the news just before the press conference.
He said that he was unaware of any discussion between Sheens and the New Zealand Warriors as the Auckland-based club searches for a replacement for Brian McLennan who was dumped in August.
Trodden paid tribute to Sheens describing him as the most imfluential figure in the club's 13-year history..
“He came to a club that had not enjoyed success and was struggling to establish itself,” Trodden said.
"Tim has established professional structures and built a foundation from which there is now a genuine expectation of sustained success.
"He was the coach of our first ever premiership winning team and for all of those reasons he will always have a special place in the history of our club.
“The last ten days have been particularly difficult for everyone and the one thing which has shone through has been the dignified and professional manner in which Tim has conducted himself.
“We are very keen for Tim to continue with our club in a senior role as part of our restructure.
The Tigers have formed sub-committee to search for his replacement.
Sheens has coached the Tigers for 10 years and delivered the joint venture's only premiership success in 2005 but has came under pressure to keep his role as the end of this season when the club failed to make the finals after starting 2012 as title favourites.
The Tigers have had an unsettled start to the off-season with popular players Chris Heighington and Beau Ryan joining the Cronulla Sharks after being forced out of the club. The move came on top of Bryce Gibbs and Andrew Fifita moving to the Sharks in 2011 as the Tigers made room in their salary cap for New Zealand international Adam Blair to join the club from Melbourne.
Today's announcement came after Sheens reportedly lost the support of the Tigers board and leading players. The Tigers held a board meeting last Thursday in which a review, headed by Humphreys, into the 2012 season was announced.
Humphreys is believed to have reported back to the board within the last 48 hours.
Sheens is due to coach Australia against New Zealand in Townsville next month.
