No. I’m warming to trying Pucovski as an opener. He’s too much of a talent to be sitting on the sideline, and I think Cameron Green will soon get the no.6 spot. Only other spot that’s available is maybe no.5, but Travis Head is going pretty well.

I could get behind that, for sure. I like Burns but if he's not scoring then it's hard to pick him.

Although I personally wouldn't throw Green in just yet unless there's no form around. I'd want him to be bowling fit/bowling a full load too.

first time Pucovski has opened in first class matches...

saw him Friday arvo at Glenelg for the first time. Looked very good.

Yeah not necessarily saying this summer for Green, but I don’t think it’s far away. He looks the real deal, and the obvious choice to be our long term no.6.

Anyone who scores 255* deserves kudos.

But apart from Sayers who is a proven class act at shield level the SA attack are plodders incorporated.

Pucovski at opener is an experiment in progress.

Sayers is indeed great but his best years definitely behind him. (Edit / addition - I think the ban on saliva to shine the ball would affect him more than most bowlers too).

Worrall bowled great on the Friday I was there, most likely and had Harris dropped in slips on 5. He was also best of the lot this morning.

Pope didn’t get anything going, maybe the new haircut. Agar was fits n starts.

It’s not the best bowling attack at all, but indeed 255 against anyone is a fantastic result.

Travis Head back to back second innings hundreds.

What a shame for him second innings runs don't count...
