Renshaw positive again. Great scoring shots with a few false ones.

Being sent in can't ask for more against a heavily swinging ball.

Cam Green with a top spell.

1/74 at lunch Renshaw 48no.

Tail weren't able to hang around which is a shame. Smith gone for 57 trying to push the scoring rate.

Victorians are nice people

Not enforcing the follow on so Haze/Star and Lyon can get more ashes preparation in..

Over 100 overs in the field wasnt enough..

At the same time resting their own bowlers who barely worked up a sweat

Very good ton from Renshaw and it was needed. Shame he couldn't kick on and go to stumps.

Marnus a handy 50 as well. I'd say most of our test bats look in decent nick for the Ashes.

Hopefully Weatherald gets a start in the Ashes and does well.

He and Renshaw at least holding the fort for a few years to give kids like Kellaway and Konstas a chance to kick on is a much better position than trying to make up openers from middle.order bats.

I always Renshaw is only 29 too

Cool. Hopefully we can bowl them out for 120 and only lose by 250.

The sacrifices NSW Cricket makes for the Australian nation are so underappreciated

No runs for Webster but plenty of wickets. He has taken 7 for the match so far. Has dismissed Travis Head twice too.

Head's weakness is slow bowling, he really likes the ball coming onto the bat, much like Davey used to

Play him for Lyon if that's the only way the selectors are smart enough to play both Green and Webster

First innings maybe a bit unlucky. Played and missed on a wild shot outside off but they gave it out caught behind.

The ball previous he was in trouble. Angling in back into his pads from around the wicket. In the second innings that is how Webster got him out. Caught behind again but maybe the angle gives him trouble.

We will have a spinner every match no question about that.

I still think Labs will open. Smith, Green, Head and Webster to follow. No major issues with giving Weatherald a run (Apart from who we drop) but I'm already sold on Labs being a 5 year test opener based on feels.
