They deserved it after somehow losing to Tasmania.

Both matches between NSW and Tasmania were draws, which are as good as a loss anyway in this competition. NSW's biggest problem in this season was its inability to bowl sides out when it needed to.

They lost the last match by 6 runs chasing over 400. That's what I meant. It matters not now.
