Watched ECW the last few weeks and seen that this guy is finally getting the push he deserves, teaming up with Elijah Burke. The guy is deadset one of the most talented in ring workers, and with Burke as his manager, he would make a great champion.

Basically, what would you people make of a Punk vs Benjamin feud?

Punk V benjamin would be good, but Punk V Burke wold be orgasmic. Seriously - Burke is way too good to be someone's manager.

But if Burke and Benjamin both got pushes, I'd be pleased.

Yes, like a million times. Kevin Thorn needs a push to join the ME of ECW. The fueds are just going around in circles between the top 3 or 4.

Don't get me wrong, I do like Burke, but the prospect of him and Punk feuding doesn't really excite me so much. They teased it during the New Blood vs. Originals feud and it didn't really grab me then, either. Burke needs a lead in feud of some description to get his character better established.

Benjamin vs. Punk is something I'd love to see, though. Two talented as f**k individuals who are constantly being held down by WWE management for various reasons. The two could put on a real show.

I think it's a master stroke to have someone like Burke become the mouth piece for Benjamin. It's common knowledge that Benjamin sucks on the mic. but with Burkes charisma finally Benjamin may get the push he deserves...and another point at least it's better than Benjamins last full time manager...does anyone remember Mrs. Benjamin? :lol:

Anywho I hope they build Benjamin vs. Punk up a bit. I know they won't and they'll launch themselves inexplicitly on one another but damn I think this feud could be gold if given the proper time.

I didn't mind Mrs. Benjamin, to be perfectly honest. She was annoying at first, but once I got used to her being there, it at least served the purpose of getting Benjamin a mini push.

We've seen Punk v Burke numerous times. I've lost count of the number of times.

Punk v Benjamin could be brilliant. I'd love for them to get 20 minutes on a PPV just to go all out. Burke v Benjamin would be grand, too.

We've seen Burke V Punk like twice since Punk became champion.

If this is another case of holding down an outrageously all-around talented performer in Burke just to push Benjamin a bit, it'll be clear that Vince has completely lost it.

From a work-rate perspective, I'd rather see Punk/Benjamin than Punk/Burke. Ideally, they could tag and get over that way. Burke gets to work in ring and Benjamin can hopefully learn a bit of charisma from Burke. He was never going to learn it from Haas, who is nearly as bad as he is.

Don't get me wrong - I'm all about the Benjamin. The guy is an amazing athlete.

But I truly think Burke could be anything if he got pushed just the right way, and it seems like he's now being held back to babysit someone who should know how to do things by now.

Benjamin and Burke to win the tag titles off the Miz and Morrison perhaps? The only bad thing about that is we'd probably see Punk have to fued with one of them again.

I'd like to see Kane go after Punk, with Shelton and Burke to have the tag titles for a while.

When was the last time Kane had a major title match? i think he had a US title match with MVP, but that was ages ago.

Yeah when I was thinking up potential Mania cards Punk vs. Kane came to mind with Kane becoming the ultimate monster heel on Smackdown by turning on Punk. A boy can dream right?

Does Kane deserve a title shot? Hell yes.

Does he deserve to be champion? Hell yes.

And even though he's a huge man (which Vince seems to love), will he actually get it? Probably not.

I'd love Kane to be champion, but I'd like him to have some time off, come back around RR, with the mask on again and ambush someone (Punk maybe) become a monster heel, and win the title at Mania.
