I voted yes based on the fact he's been in average form this year. I also think the Cov is a more than adequate replacement. Should the Cov be shown to be holding the backline back, and Fergo finds some form in NSWCup, I'd then back him to return to first grade.

Lot of people are getting quite worked up in here. We don't want people who doesn't want to be here, and Fergo appears to be one of those people. I wish him the best, and I think he does have the potential to become a rep player. Whether or not it happens, will be shown in time.

I really hope though this doesn't make us pull out all the stops chasing M. Gordon. He is NOT worth 250k a year.

I think Michael Gordon is highly likely to resign with the Panthers. Talks are on going and he wants to stay provided we can make him a reasonably competitive offer which we should be in a position to make.

He has a touch of the Justin hodges about him.

Basically, he's a dickhead.

"I want to win."
Ha! after the drags put 38 to blot on us and he gifted them 4 tries at any other club he would've been shelved.

Everybody wants to win, but every season 15 teams miss out.
A great test of character is the guys who still put in each week win lose or draw no matter where their team is placed.
Guys like Gal, Dougie, trent, Gardner, Gordon, Morris and pretty much the rst of the side.

But this nancy boy - he stands on the wing with all the headlines running thru his head about what a prospect he is.

Potential is nothing unless it's realised.
He got arap in the story about running down Foleau in the Allstars game.
Ha!
Foleau brushed him like a drunk and if the play had've been in in Ferguson's half Izzy would've scored.

i'd drop him.
I'd send him to the gorilla's.
Not for changing club's but for his attitude.

I hope he goes to the Cowboys.

Why all the surprise. The bloke has now represented....`Aboriginal All Stars'. Obviously somebody has got in his ear to tell him how much better off he would be at another club. It's up to our management to hold the club together. If they don't, they're not doing their job. Ever since those who lust for power knifed Gow, it's been all downhill. Despite my hopes that things would improve under new management, it seems that things haven't changed.

just having a coopers 62 pilsener..don't bother.

Good, I was just at the bottlo and almost grabbed some as it was on special. Fortunately, so was Little Creatures, couldn't knock that back, no contest. Just about to hunker down in the recliner to watch the boys rub Noddy's face in the mud, LC in hand.

Oh and Yes Fergo should be dropped, come on down Cov.

I was a big fan of the young bloke after his debut season, but from what I've seen this season he is suffering from a bit of second year sydrome. It also appears his ego is outstripping his performances at this stage.

Having said all that, whilst we still have a chance of making the 8 I wouldn't be dropping him. Tonight he's had a very mixed game. He's done some stupid things, but he got one and almost had another try off a cross field kick.

Strangely, Stuart has done the opposite to dropping him, in some ways he's given in to Fergo's demands as he played the last 20 minutes in the centres with Collis on the wing. And with ball in hand Fergo seemed reinvigorated. Lets hope everyone kissed and made up and the story is bs and Fergo is still a chance to stay. If not, I'd support the club if they pissed him off in a couple of weeks time when we can no longer make the finals. Having said that, the club needs to be competitive on the field to keep the fans coming through the gate, so if we are going to be paying him then we may as well be playing him!

Yes Ali, interesting point. Big head Fergo, who had another bad game tonight, gets switched to the centres for 30 minutes of the second half.

So why would you do that? This big head primadonna was the subject of an article today where he announces he is leaving the club, publicly criticises the club, whinges about finances etc and more interestingly not being given a go as a centre. So now the coach runs him at centre in the second half. Why would you do that? The player says he is leaving. Or is he?

Could it be that this is not yet a closed door? Is this a whinge to get more money or a switch to centres. He is from the Hormono/Mundine stable after all. Or could it be that Sticky is heading to Qld and taking big head with him to replace Israel Folau at the Broncos.

I met a young kid through my son in the week who goes to Our Lady of Fatima school in Caringbah, where Sticky's kids go. Reminded by a recent Buzz & Becks piece I asked this kid what was his class mate saying where they might be next year. Answer, Qld.

Oh and since when does a winger need to play centre to show how creative he is

Well it seems Canberra are front runners in getting him according to the Sunday Telecrap.

Stuart gave him a 30 minute stint in the centres getting him well prepared for the Can berra gig.

Great work Sticky!!

Stuart (and Douglas) in post-match comments both suggested that Ferguson's announcement affected the players..

Doesn't surprise me when he basically says "This team is crap"...

Drop him to reggies. He doesn't want to show loyalty to the club that gave him his break, he can suffer the consequences of being a regular reserve grade player... See how many 'winning' sides want him...

No surprise Canberra are the ones jumping at him... Too bad they aren't a 'winning' side.

The last time I looked Canberra were just above us on the ladder.

But according to him they are his Holy Grail.

Freeze your nuts in the ACT you merkin!!

If we were keeping him in the side whilst we had a slim chance of making the finals surely now he has to be dumped to reggies.

We won't be getting into the finals this year and we don't need to be grooming him in the centres for Canberra next year.

He wont go to Canberra. No limelight down there for him.

So who has the money and needs a back and where would The Man and Uncle Sol like him to play.

Broncos
Roosters
Warriors
Raiders
Knights
Titans

Roosters just poached the other Carney from the Raiders, so they are probably reasonably cashed up.

Going to be funny if he has a hard time finding a club.

Ide rather Besty by a country mile..

Alos, probably been discussed elsewhere in here but we should also make a play at Josh Morris, no way the dragons could afford to have him back there now after signing Roger Ramjet.
