I’m quite enjoying this thread. People saying nice upbeat things. @macnaz would think he’s modding the wrong forum.

Gets back on the old beat to ensure our thought crimes of happiness don’t get out of hand.

Haven't really made any huge signings. They've mostly been smart ones though. Hastings will be the best of them though, especially now that he has his head screwed on better than the last time he was in the NRL. Good control around the ruck and links well with his forwards which is handy.

If Hastings is strong and Doeuihi remains on his trajectory, Luke Brooks will be granted a release, if Brooks requests it. Tigers aren't actively shopping him around though.

Crowd funding over subscription is a system I prefer and use via my own website. That way, those who can afford it can, and it will subsidise those who can't but want to use the system. The problem with subscription models on things that have been free for a long time, is that you will turn away a huge number of the sites visitors/members, which in turn reduces the amount of money you can earn. This site costs the same to run if it has 12 visitors or 12 million. Ads are safe, crowd funding is safe - so i'd go with those.

It depends on what they did. I got a second chance, but I was just being a dickhead pest. I came back after a fortnight ban and decided to enjoy the forum instead of troll and destroy it and found it much better. Got made a mod a few months after. That changed my view on the whole matter even further. Most people get plenty of warnings and chances anyway.

Wouldn't say I was driven out. I got the impression that people had the shits with me and it was making the forum less desirable for people to post in, so I left, hoping it would make everyone else and the forum happier.

It's been 1550 days since I last made any posts here (other than 1 moderator duty post)

I vowed not to return because a number of members constantly had the shits with me, so I left to ensure the members had an enjoyable forum. It wasn't a sooking thing, it was purely all about recognising that if I'm the problem, then I have to go.

But one member (who will remain anonymous) privately suggested I should return. Hence the poll. You got 2 weeks.
