Should NRL expansion just be about TV $'s?

Grant said they will try to give areas that may never get NRL sides representation in second tier comps.

I think they will stay as separate competitions with the conference style state championship game linking them.

I think Fiji & Wellington will have sides in a revamped NSW CUP to mirror the sucess of the QLD Cup and I really don't understand opposition to it, it works fine in Qld.

Where will these clubs get their million $ revenue from to compete? PNG is only in as Govt is chucking money at it and even then they got into some financial strife already. Unless you have a leagues club or NRL club paying for it where will the revenue come from?

Unless a NSW Cup side has a NRL association it wont survive long

They just cant compete with the 11 teams that have 8 NRLfringe FG squad players

Better when National RG is setup then.ALL NSW Cup clubs new and old can compete on a level playing field

I think the PNG Hunters proves your theory to be wrong.

PNG is the exception on the field, they have an entire country of juniors where the game is the national sport. And as I said off the field they are already in financial problems despite the Govt picking up the bill.
