should players boycot the Dally M's

it amazes how all the respones to this topic have been about money and the top players.........if they were so consumed in money they would not be putting up such a fight because why should they worry, they are being paid large sums of money -( not as much as other sports) and would have gone to the dally m's and not be in negotiations with the nrl......but obvisouly some of these players have thought beyond their playing years or the future of their juniors and how much they ae being paid or rather how little they are being paid. if the nrl are not listeing to them and they feel this is the only way the nrl are going to listen- then good no them..........

ok it may be a bit harsh because we and the players are nevr going to know who were awarded the dally m's for 2003. but obvisouly thety feel they have a strong case and this is the way their message is getting accross....

none of us can judge if its right or wrong. yes we will all do different things if it was us in their situation, but we are not there....so lets live with it and move on and hopefully things will be sorted out and the players of the future will benefit from this!
