Sharks have gone 39 years without a premiership, the way their going, they could go another 20 years without one, does that mean we punt them ???

I think a more interesting question would be "Should NRL franchises be time limited" ie a team gets a franchise for 5, 7 or 10 years, take your pick, based on a set criteria. If they fail to meet the expectations of the league during that time period the franchise is opened up to all bidders. May offer opportunities for expansion as well as ensure clubs like Souths can't keep bumping along at the bottom, immune for any repercussions.

Souths are a great and proud club and a true asset to the N.R,L. I would hope lessons where learnt from when they where punted last time. No club should be exiled unless its becauce of financial problems
