Wow. Just wow.

Take a step back Carlton. And reasses your points here. You’ve gone off the deep end.

Why is there a need to take a step back, what points need reassessment?

If you or Jonesy were serious you would have called Muzby out for the nonsense he continually disrupts threads with. Amazing, he cops a mild dose of what he dishes out to other people and you think that is going off the deep end.

You do realise that during a discussion an opposing viewpoint to your own is not necessarily considered “disruptive”..

Don’t bring me into your personal tirade against him. I suspect your issue is more to do with you not agreeing with the perspective he’s presenting on the JV matter (in this case).

I enjoy Muzby’s light hearted banter, he brings a bit of humour to the forum.

You brought yourself into it when you posted. My issue is with the anti St George crap he rolls out everytime someone tries to raise a serious discussion about the JV just to disrupt it.

Agree: Norman’s acquisition is ridiculously shortsighted.

Disagree: Josh Reynolds has seen better days.

Completely disagree: “fans” need to lay off Hunt.

Agree: Smith, while his coaching won’t result in a premiership, his track record (at most clubs) suggest a pathway to success.

Lol..

So the JV discussion is purely should St George go it alone or not?

Please..

There’s plenty of anti Illawarra stuff day in, day out.. You’re simply hearing an opposing viewpoint that isn’t based on nostalgia for a time long gone..

Needless to say the points I’m raising about St George are based on fact.. They may not be what you want to hear but I’ll stand by them..

You’re literally accusing Muzby of engaging in some sort of conspiracy with the Gordon’s, and then coming on here to push an agenda.

To what end? The club clearly doesn’t give a shit about what the fans think. Why would they care what the forum thinks? Are they really going to plant someone in here (in 2006 no less) just to redirect criticism of the club?

If this is some sort of meta sarcasm that I’ve missed, I apologise.

Muzby pushes his agenda, why not call him out?

I literally have not accused Muzby of conspiring with the Gordons. I have asked him questions and, pushed him to answer, about his relationships with Illawarra, WIN and the Gordons. Given his derogatory comments against St George, this was a valid line of enquiry.

Would the club plant someone? Lets see they didn't mind sending the cops around to a supporter with threats of fraud.

Muzby you are full of sh#t. Go back and look at my posts.

This started because I wrote

"The past is something to embrace, learn from and build off, there is nothing wrong with the JV being proud of the St George history as it part of its DNA. The trouble with looking forwards is that there is nothing to show anything will improve.

There are many supporters of the JV who live in the Illawarra but they were St George fans. In fact there are probably more people who fall into this category than were Illawarra supporters. This has nothing to do with where fans live or who they supported.

This is about a group of people looking after themselves and treating all the fans (St George or Illawarra) as dispensable. My biggest gripe is with the Gordon family and WIN who have manipulated the JV one way or another for years and been in the middle of the situation it is in. One thing Possm is right about is that deals have been and are being made to protect certain interests."

I made the mistake of trying to have a serious discussion with you and all you could do was come back with some of your sarcastic crap. For the record I am not anti JV or anti Illawarra but I am not pro WIN/the Gordons. Also, I dont think St George Leagues should be kept, I think the JV board (SGI) has been a disaster (and I am not distinguishing between St George or Illawarra directors) and I do think that the move to the Illawarra is going to happen. The issue is how it has all transpired the continued poor decisions and alienation of fans.

Good post Carlton ( Personally believe that the St.George Leagues should remain , but that’s my personal opinion ) .

So.. In summary, it all comes back to some conspiracy theory involving the Gordons..
You really need to let that go..

Th reason I think the St George leagues club should be let go is it is worth more sold than as a going concern and the demographics of Dragons fans is geographically spread so it is not as dramatic for the "home base" (which most never go to the club anyway) to change.

But, my heart says it should stay and be great again.
