I'll just come out and say it. I have heard RUMOURS that the Roosters want to offload Anasta in order to sign Toddy Carney to have the following halves combination (see below), with the Roosters to payout most of his deal and us to sign him on minimum contract. I think Anasta would give us some stability in the halves but is anyone else also thinking Brett Finch again?

For those of you interested, Anasta (like O'Meley) is contracted with the Roosters until the end of 2011.

What year is it? One year the bloke is a lock. The next he is a 5/8. Then he is a fullback, for one game anyway.

Anasta would be a good pick up for what we have already but it still leaves us with an ordinary forward pack. Until that is fixed it accounts for nought.
