Sick Of Some Of These Shark Fans

I put the disappointing end to the season mainly down to the fact we were forced to blood many new players during this period in the absence of various experienced players (ie Vagana, Bailey, Dykes, Mellor etc).
The new players who got a go, the likes of Beau Scott, Cliff Manua and Stosic will be much better for it.

good post colonel

looking at the players we have, 7th is certainly an underachievement (is even that a word?)

I had a similar sort of feeling as a Tigers supporter last season.

In retrospect, given the injuries, the calls that went against the side and the side they had on paper, you could be forgiven for thinking, "Well 9th place is the best position the Tigers have ever finished and with the injuries and the calls that went against them, you can't really criticise their performance."

But on the other hand I think, they only had to win one of the last 3 games and they could have made the top 8. And it's knowing what could have been that's so bitter.

I know the players them selves recognised this and admitted that they couldn't use excuses, that a play off spot was there and they failed to grab it.

this thread should have come with a sycophant warning.

now we need some guy supporting another team (no offence intendede colonel) to come in here and attempt a rational explanation of reality to the New Fluffies On The Block

Brilliant portrayal of just why the Sharks are always bridesmaids.

While coochy coochy fluffballs like the author of this thread continue to accept mediocrity the Sharks will be happy to bowl along losing knowing that coming close is good enough to too many people.

Well here's the rub Einstein and co, mediocrity is NEVER good enough. This club is in a 39 year rut that it doesn't even look like getting out of. I and others here have been around for all of them, many others have been around for 20 or more years. Yeah you can repeat the same old platitudes and hopes that get an airing every off season but none of that actually helps. Not while people feel the team, the staff and the admin are above criticism.

There are also quite a few posters here who simply know more about what is happening down at the club. Often these are the ones who are critical because they for whatever reason know exactly what type of sh*t is going down at the club.

They say ignorance is bliss. If that's true demented fluff bunnies who think the club and it's components must not be criticised or berated are surely cruising in heaven on the back of their superficial understanding and naive blindness.

Open your eyes puffballs, criticism is here to stay. It is an acceptable and expected morè in all facets of life. If you can't stand the heat, f**k off out of the kitchen.

I believe it is time for a complete broom through the place. If you were to compare the Sharks results to a business the lack of success would translate to bankruptcy. Does Lachlan Murdoch want to buy a football team? He just split from daddy and is looking for something to while away the spare time.

I couldnt be bothered checkin the name of whoever started this s***house thread but i will tell you this: I will give s*** to ANY player in my team that deserves it. If you dont like it you know what you can do.

Also cause i love the Sharks do you think i was happy with Simmo's "love push" to Cooper against the Drags? Cause i love the Sharks should i say nothing about it and applaude Simmo for that stuff so he can do it again next week?

WAKE THE F*** UP YOU DREAMER!!!!!!!!!!!

i recon you are not a true fan

as i bag less players than you i am a truier true fan than you

it should be a measure

if you criticise :

0 players you are a 100 per cent true fan

1-3 players 90 percent truey true fan

4-6 players - 60 percent

by my calculation capn jack you are only a 20 per cent true fan

i am a far trueier true fan than you

as for reefy....

I agree with $h@rk$!
I have been a Sharks supporter for 30 years, but have always lived elsewhere (Vanuatu, Brisbane, and now Bathurst).
I went to the Sharks/Souths game, and I was disgusted to hear quite a few Sharks "supporters" totally bagging the team - this on a night when we paid tribute to the mighty Peach and Stevo.
If you don't like the team, jump on the band-wagon with the other 13-year-olds who don't have the character to believe in anything other than 'success by association' and follow the Broncos or Parra or whoever else is a 'winner' this year.
