Hopped onto this one a bit late, but the forum has plenty of constructive criticism alongside the over emotional and beligerent stuff. All these sorts of messages are part of fandom. Its all good fun in the end.

As for the team, if they played with the same amount of dedication, determination and application all year as they did in that St George final, they would have finished higher in the table, they would have been mentaly tougher and would have been true contenders like the Tigers.

i love my kids but that doesnt mean I dont let them know when they aren't doing the right thing....

We are all long suffering supporters....and what $hark$ has failed to see (largely due to the poor performances that have been dished up lately) is the praise that also comes along to the players when they earn it.

You can sit around and believe the "Lets support and be positive of our teams efforts" all you like.....but in the end , sooner or later you too will get tired of accepting below par results.

We all crave the same thing.....so join us in what ever way you feel fluffiest.

39 years next year and let me tell ya folks, we ain't gunna get the prize again. I am 37 years old, have seen many, many losses for the Sharks and will see many, many more to come. Why? Becasuse there is no need for them to win. The fans turn up. The money gets paid by season ticket holders and the NRL has a team that is cannon fodder for all the rest of the teams that buy harder and try harder than ours.

John Lang and ET promised in 99 that they would bring home the cup in 2000. What happened? They didn't and everyone goes along like they have year after year with no ramifications. They are not answrable to anyone and never will be. The club, the players, the coach and anyone else connected with the Sharks do not have the desire, the motivation, the heart and the competetive nature that other clubs have to simply "win". Apparenty it is too big of a deal.

I respect that you have an opinion $hark$ and all of you other tree hugging fairies but us older, long suffering, anxious and twisted from all of the crap that has gone before you supporters are like we are because in life - let alone football, there are no rewards for failure.
