With a combination of young blokes and current players it would be interesting to see what kind of side we could field next year and beyond. I'd have a mix of youth and experience, stop getting these waste of space imports from other clubs and rather look in our own backyard

Vella is a workhorse and he always runs it up with venom. Atleast he doesn't continually run it back into the markers.

Vella is a workhorse and he always runs it up with venom. At least he doesn't continually run it back into the markers.

Vella, workhorse and venom in the same sentence. He does show some of these characteristics but his form has been so inconsistent. If you were talking about the game against the Cowboys well I would have agreed but in all honesty Vella needs consistency....... if he gets another contract beyond next year he will really need to show a huge form reversal and really lead from the front.

And keeping Ben SMith over Graham - WTF?

I acknowledge your right to express your opinion, but surely - Graham has proved himself at a First Grade standard, and Smith hasn't.

How can you want to keep a player like Smith who, as great as he may be, you have never seen in First Grade action?

I think Vella has been OK for us this year, but a workhorse? Thats someone like Nathan Hindmarsh, not vella who would play at most 50 minutes a match!

With Supermen like Chris Thorman, who are able to play two positions it will take cryptonite to stop that side!
