Zillman would't be in our 17 cause we have Mr one eyed as coach. I wouldn't mind seeing Tom LL in the centers. Whatever they do hopefully Purtell isn't one of options.

no, zillman won't be in our side because he's injured you twit. and purtell IS mogg's replacement, and deservedly so (he had an excellent game in PL last week)

Can't believe Purtell is getting talked up after playing against a down on strength Rabbitoh's premier league side. Have we forgotten how ordinary he was in 1st grade. SBW will have a field day out wide. Hope he can come up to the mark as this only area where the Bulldogs will have the edge. Personally would have preferred Chalk in to the starting side and a new bench player selected. I note Elliott has said that the Premier League's performances have demanded the players get looked at, I wonder what the likes of Ale, Goodwin and co think about that comment. Obviously Zillman would have been in top 17 barring injury (before Purtell) based on his current form.

Purtell has been given his chance and failed what about blooding some one else?

So he didnt dominate in his first few games in the NRL...
how many players in the past few years have come into the NRL and really dominated in their debut season??? Not to many, not every player that debuts is a SBW or Benji Marshall, most need a bit of time to get up to speed with the NRL.

Wasn't expecting him to dominate, but was expecting him to at least put his body on the line especially when going for tries in the corner and defending. At least guys like Milne and Nathan Smith etc had a go.

You don't say  One excellent game in PL makes him a superstar does it?

no, but it at least justifies his promotion to first grade this week. which is better than your idea of putting zillman out there with a broken leg...:p

I knew Zillman was out, I was just stating if he wasn't out he wouldn't have been picked.

well i guess we'll never know that, will we. i suppose it would have depended on what kind of game he had in PL.

Well looking at the side listed there would have been no room for him. The bench already has Chalk, and Purtell on the wing so no chance for Zillman.
