Masada Iosefa and Wade Graham are crucial for us to win IMO.

Lachlan Coote hasn't done anything to deserve being dropped... but Michael Gordon has to be in the side. He will be the bloke that is left out to fit him in.

The trouble is that our first grade side won't lose much if anything in keeping Tighe/Wesser over Coote. Our Under 20's team will receive a MASSIVE boost in having him though.

while the u20 is nice we are after first grade .Coote is the best fullback in the club and has to stay

It's funny now, how tough it is to pick the backline. We do have a ton of talent there. For me though the side would be:

1. Wesser (Coote looks good but I don't want him rushed, Wesser has looked good plenty of times this year and has done nothing wrong)
2. Tighe (Has done nothing wrong, and deserves his spot)
3. Jennings (You seriously want an explanation? Our best player aside Petero)
4. Blair (Outstanding defensively and has plenty of grunt in attack)
5. Gordon (If he can't go, then Rooney. Tell Graham to bomb to his side)
6. Graham (No reason for him to go back at all, improving every week)
7. Lewis (Out of position but playing well. Leave the fifth tackle options to Graham and Iosefa when he's out there)
8. Petero (Best player at the club)
9. Priddis (Great leadership which is needed)
10. Puletua (In good form, player hurt last week and it showed)
11. Pritchard (Needs consistency. See the Warriors/Eels game)
12. Waterhouse (Good workload, form has been inconsistent)
13. Smith (I'm iffy on the guy but he's shown he deserves his spot)

14. Iosefa (He'll tear it apart off the bench and learn plenty from Priddis. No reason for him to be relegated)
15. Rodney (Does all the little things right, tackles all day and gives another kicking option)
16. Bell (Has looked good this year and continues to improve)
17. Moors (See above)

Woolnough needs to get his fitness back. Few weeks in the lower grades should help. Coote looks good but I'd rather not rush him. And as good as Sammut is at the moment I just can't find a place in the team for him. He isn't a winger.

I'm with you Sleep.

That's the side I would pick, and I agree with your reasons too.

Well Matt Elliott picked the same side, with Michael Gordon as 18th man.

So Coote, Graham and Iosefa were all rewarded for a job well done. Surprising.

Same team. I think that Gordon should come in though. Very interesting forward pack for Windsor, Puletua at lock?
Joe Haora? Even i don't know who that is! Paulo at 5/8 is a good move, didnt think of that.

How crazy is our depth in the Under 20's?

That teams looks pretty insane, and we're missing our entire 1/6/7/9... which is the core of the team.

I think Joe Arora was that winger who made his debut in JBC a couple of weeks ago for Windsor wasn't it??...and has been great for them...not sure but...

Great side Elliot...hopefully he sticks with it.

Good to see Woolnough, Puletua, Paulo having to earn their spots back!

Well done

I like the side picked. Gotta wonder who'll get dropped if Gordon gets the green light. As tough as it is I'd say Coote.

Really glad Gordon is back though. He was outstanding in the games he played for us this year.

I'd drop Blair, move Tighe to centre and put Gordon on the wing.

I'd drop Tighe. I'd love Gordon in the centres, but the fact is we're covered for centres and its top quality wingers we're in need of.
I think Coote will keep his spot until Rooney comes back, then I imagine Elliott will shift Wesser back to fullback and Rooney to come back into his natural position. I wonder if Wesser could go the way of the Peach...
