Signing of the season

I'm going to go out on a limb and nominate Glenn Morrison as my candidate to finish the season as "signing of the year". He's been very impressive for the Cowboys and if he stays healthy he'll finally get his blues jumper and the devotion of eels fans.

Hindmarsh and Morrison will prove to be a lethal backrow, if only they weren't surrounded by such powder puffs as Vella, Wagon, Stringer and Cannings. I bet you're hoping Cayless stays on the park this year.

The only thing preventing you blokes from a top 6 finish is the uncertainty over your halves. PJ Marsh is an injury risk and Smith an unknown quantity in many respects.

Just my thoughts. Fire at will.

you won't get many arguments here but at the moment it is still way too early to say, I reckon there might be a couple of dark horses that may get that tag, namely Michael Ennis [Saints], Lincoln Withers [Canberra] or even last years winner may even get it again, Amos Roberts [Roosters]

We're hoping that the Bombers might snap him up this Thursday.

He's shown he can kick a ball a long way.

What is the go with that? A few sessions with the AFL player and does Max think there is more money in AFL...... going by the Moree Bears trial result your boys still aren't big on defending.

At least we're consistent - we averaged 32 points against in First Grade last year. Why shouldn't the young 'uns follow suit.

The most disturbing news was that Ewen McGrady cut us to ribbons. :?

???

Sure, Vella and Wags have their powder puff labels nicely worn.

But Cannings and Stringer?

Sounds to me like Manly fans are bitter because we signed Aaron. The guy is great - in the trial match he consistently carried two or more defenders on his back forward and even managed a few good offloads.

Not bitter, disappointed I guess for me. Anyway hope he has a great year without injury for Parra.

Manly will welcome him back when this contract finishes. I suppose Manly can get a certain centre to whisper in his ear on how good it will be at Manly...

Cannings would have been great if it werent for his injury last year. Certainly going to do well for us this year. Very excited about Morrison.
