Just flicked through some of NRL360

Had forgotten how much of a derp Brent Read is. “If MaGuire asked for an extension now you couldn’t get it to him”. Then made an absolute goose of himself trying to support Lomax too

Honestly, I don't wish ill on anyone, but f**k Zac Lomax. He made his bed, and now is lying in it. Left the Dragons and Eels in his wake, and obviously let his manager talk him into a comp that blind Freddy knew wasn't going ahead.

Go play rugby, dickhead.

Bears starting to assemble a bit of a team.

Mal Meninga rapt with signing of Scott Sorensen

Sorensen has played 100 NRL games for the Panthers, as well as four Test matches for New Zealand. He started his career with stints at the Canberra Raiders and Cronulla Sharks.

He'll add steel and discipline to the Bears' forward pack, joining fellow NRL signings Nick Meaney and Tyran Wishart (from Melbourne), Sean Russell (Parramatta), Josh Curran (Bulldogs), Chris Vea'ila (Cronulla) and Liam Henry. They Bears have also snared the likes of James McDonnell, Harry Newman, Luke Smith, Toby Sexton, Emarly Bitungane and Iszac Fa’asuamaleaui from Super League clubs.

Gonna be death riding the Storm all year if they get away with this one.

Which sucks cos I really like the Kiwi lads there and I want them to do well, plus I was amping for my favourite lunatic Heatherington now that he's moved there.

But this level of naked self interest by the club hierarchy is only eclipsed by their cap rorts.

Well that conclusion to yesterdays news was certainly wrong, the Eels have buried the Storm, Lomax a slight win with a year taken off his terms so free to play NRL again in 2028 (Parra can still agree to an earlier release) and the Storm are to play all Lomax’s legal fees and $250,000 of Parramattas

Part of me thinks Melbourne pulled out because a subpoena would open up the world to the dodgy shit they get up to.

All part of me is thrilled about this decision.

Sucked in Melbourne.

All sets up well for Thursday, hope the Eels belt them. It'll be a beauty

That is ridiculous. Absolutely insane for the clubs to treat a player like Matteson as a pawn in their game, without any communication. No surprise to see Melbourne involved
