SIMPSONS MAFIA (Game Thread)

A good lesson here is that anyone who draws attention to themselves is usually set upon in these games. If you're a townie, you'd better have a good reason for doing so (I do).

What was your reason for drawing attention to yourself?

I'm a townie, and I'm more useful to you alive, but if worst comes to worst, my death will hopefully throw suspicion on those who deserve it. Chief of that list are BDR and whall, who were both in the firing line and rather keen to come after me.
that's a BunniesMan type post. But yes, I was already very suspicious of BDR and I feel like he's changed his personality a bit in this thread

It's not like the death knell has sounded for JM but he has become very defensive. I too have doubts about the likes of Whall and BDR but I have not seen them post anything saying that they know that that someone had attempted to kill them.

As I said, it's an advantage that no one else has told is about and a dangerous one to have.

Indian burns are not our cultural heritage & neither are self proclaimed Indian shop keepers. Shopkeepers are supposed to sell, but I am not buying it. Too many inconsistencies.

Vote: Jason Maher

I understand everyone's suspicion of Jason Maher, I am suspicious too, but I also suspect he might be town and I am not more convinced one way or the other.

I believe BDR isn't town at all and I have strong suspicions about Apey and nothing telling me he might be town. There are a bunch of others I am suspicious of too. I think the only way I can vote right now is

vote: BDR

I can be convinced to go in another direction though

You arent alone with your suspicions of BDR. He Jason & Whall seem to be the 3 getting the most attention. For me going with Jason is 2 fold.
1) He claims 2 attempted hits against him, after the first claim I half thought it could be a diversion. The second seemed more sus. You have to wonder if it was true why the Baddies would waste another attempt. Plus the Apu hints & then backtracking to the important townie line. I am sure Apu makes a mean slushie, but the town would go on regardless.

2) Another lynch free day would give the other factions (I am pretty sure) 3 potential murder chances. We need to reduce their numbers & lynching is our only weapon. He has the "support" for want of a better word to get a lynch over the line. A vote for BDR or Whall seems a no vote at this stage. If Jason was just picked as a random target I wouldnt just follow the herd, but the evidence is pretty compelling.

No one wants to hear from my armpits apparently, cant understand why.............

Why do I get the feeling JM is going to be another Bunniesman-like death?

One way to find out >_>

that's not a reason to lynch him. You're making yourself look more sus. The reason I chose not to kill him despite his being suspicious is because there are others I am more certain are enemies to the town

vote Jason maher

Lets see if a) he can die during the day and b) in the last game the DON couldn't die if his number two was alive, I want to see if this is why Jason is one of the undead

Nice and subtle. I like it. Of course you know that if I was the Don there's no way I'd play my hand the way I have.

I'm leaning to JM to. He somehow has knowledge that someone is out to kill him yet doesn't die.

But then an innocent dies.

Vote Jason Maher.

Yes, an innocent dies because I'm only one person, and there are multiple attacks each night. I don't have any ability to protect others. I ain't the doctor.

Trying to throw out the apu quotes now Jason

Is that you trying to let us know u are apu and can't be killed ?

I am torn as to if I believe you or not.

It would make sense but then maybe that's what u want us to think

Oh, very nice indeed. You're not torn in the slightest, just making sure a townie goes under the bus instead of one of your mates.

Then it seems he has an advantage that no one else has. If people have tried to kill him at night and he has survived then he is either killing townies himself or getting someone else to do it. Even if hasnt got powers to kill innocents are dying.

Either way with JM around I don't feel safe.

A non sequitir if ever I've seen one. Because I survived two hit attempts, I am therefore a killer. That's twice you've tried to slyly suggest I'm somehow linked to the deaths of the townies who have been killed at night.

I dunno which of you two to vote for first. You've come up with similar-sounding theories that on the surface appear reasonable, but on examination prove to be dross. I almost suspect a bit of tag-teaming. I guess I looked like too good an opportunity to pass up. Anyway,

Vote: AlwaysGreen

I think JM is a townie who for some reason gets informed when the mafia tries to take him down.

I bet he is Apu and Apu has been shot a number of times and has never dies, so maybe there is something in that? Plus with all the quotes and all.

Or maybe even Homer... with all the dumb crazy situtations he gets himself into each episode.

Vote: AlwaysGreen

You said you suspected whall15 who is second in the voting tally (behind you) So why would you cast a random vote?

Change your vote to the only other possible lynch-ee and help to save yourself.

Guys the more I think about it, the more certain I am that JM is a townie. It makes NO sense for him to randomly claim that he has had someone try to kill him twice, if he was mafia.

Why would he put himself in the spotlight?

I have no idea. But on two occasions he has done just that.
