Well, it's out today, and I for one intend to see it (going to a 1.30 screening). Anyone else chomping at the bit to see this one?

Will post a review when I get back.

Might go see it next Tuesday when it's cheap (I'm stingy). Just hope all my friends haven't seen it by then, but I'll go on my own if I have to.

f**king...amazing.

Will post a more detailed (and less offensive) review later tonight. Seriously, it was awesome on so many levels.

Does Mickey Rourke steal the show?

For those of you who were in diapers 10 years ago, Mickey Rourke is the finest actor Hollywood has ever produced. His film project choices have been mostly abysmal, but nobody grabs the screen quite like Mickey did / hopefully still does.

Does Mickey Rourke steal the show?

Very much so. He has amazing presence, and his storyline (it's basically three separate stories) is arguably the most interesting. Clive Owen is also damn good.

I saw it ages ago, had it on VCD, not sure how the old man got his hands on it but he did... was awesome, not sure who Mickey Rourke is but one bloke in it was absolutely fantastic, cant remember which story line it was but it was top shelf.

The entire movie is top shelf

it was quality. Loved the 2nd storyline, the other two were ok as well

I know Tarentino was only involved in a bit of it but sh*t, it had his fingerprints all over it

Fantastic, a perfect translation of the comic.
Brilliant job by all involved, especially Elijah Wood as Kevin. I'll never look at Frodo the same
Robert Rodriguez is an absolute legend for bringing Frank Miller's book to life.

What looks like Tarantino is pure Miller, bloody and awful.
