If Sione goes back to centre I'd like to see him go back to and redevelop his step. One time I really saw him use it I was blown away.
He's become bulk up and head down and charge mostly which hasn't been good for the concussion possibility.

Wouldn't it be better to play Sione on the wing/centre at his current rate if he is best option than to play him in reserves on the same salary, after all like it or not he is under contract.

The desire to sign Sione for 3 more years is confusing to me. I wonder what will happen with sione if we sign another centre. They don’t want him in the forwards but there may end up not being a backline position. This would leave our captain in reserve grade on a big income.

He’ll be in the 13. I know it’s in vogue to hate on him but he starts whether it’s in the backrow or the centres. Brown obviously has a huge wrap on him and his leadership qualities. He’ll never play reserve grade.

I personally rate Sione, however what is your answer if he is not aloud to play in the forwards and we sign another quality outside back? There is no way I'd have Sione start in the backs ahead of Moga, SKD, Ross etc.

Is there anyone of quality available? I’d give him a first crack. He struggled early in 2015 in the centres but improved a lot from late 2015 until his move to the forwards. It’ll be a good headache to have but I can’t see Brown not having him in First Grade.

I posted in another thread that I'd start the season with Sione in the centres however my question is hypothetical. If we did sign another centre (which is possible with 1 million still under the cap) then where does that leave Sione?
