SYDNEY Roosters star Shaun Kenny-Dowall has allegedly been caught in possession of cocaine at Sydney’s Ivy Bar nightclub.

Police have confirmed they were called to search the 29-year-old at the George St club at about 1am this morning.
Kenny-Dowall previously faced domestic violence allegations during his 2015 season.
“During that search they allegedly located a small resealable bag containing 0.46 grams of cocaine,” a police spokeswoman said.

Kenny-Dowall was handed a field court attendance notice for possess prohibited drug and is due to appear in Downing Centre Local Court on June 21.

He previously faced domestic violence allegations during his 2015 season, but was fully acquitted of all charges.

SKD has played more than 200 games for the Roosters since making his NRL debut in 2007.

The Kiwi winger, who has played 20 Tests for New Zealand but was overlooked for tonight’s clash against Australia, is coming off contract at the end of the season.
The Roosters’ star has been linked with a move to Newcastle.
He’s been linked with a move to Newcastle and was recently spotted having lunch with Newcastle Knights coach Nathan Brown.

“I have a few decisions to make but I’m taking it one week at a time at the moment’, he said.

“It’s a week to week proposition at the moment.”

Hasn't he been in trouble in the past?

Had a nutter ex that made up all sorts of bullcrap DV claims, but was pretty emphatically cleared in court.

Not that it stopped certain people (one of whom I have contact with through her work, and called her out on it... not for the first or last time - she's not someone I have much time for) very publicly calling for him to be stood down / sacked and generally demonizing the guy, and then those same people refusing to publicly apologise (or even acknowledge that what they had done was wrong) to him after the fact.

I don't recall anything beyond that... farce.

Not the sharpest tool in the shed old Skidsy. Newcastle ate probably still desperate enough though.
