this guy is seriously a disgrace to our supporters. Sorry guys, I know he has been around for many years and has a long history with the army but there were two things last night that really pissed me off.
1. while screaming out something about doing a gouble power drive off the ropes to some player...........he finished of his call by calling out "white power". Seriously i found that to be quite discusting and I now put him in the same class as gallen.
2. A saints supporter was standing behind us with a sharks supporter and he had a banner "save the sharks..........but not tonight". It was a little tongue in cheek and had nothing to do with us. a couple of us in the army started to hassle them, but it was just a joke. Then then the skull got involved and really took it over board. The saints supporter came down to shake hands with skull and let him know that he was just supporting a mate and the skull really stuck into him. the supporter got upset and was telling skull that he is the son of a st george player from the 50's and 60's and his dad won 8 premierships with saints and skull just kept going. This guy meant no harm and i could clearly see him holding back tears.
Mark(gst) and some of his crew tried to calm skull down but he just kept going. Seriously Skull, this isnt the 70's anymore mate. Move on. Many of us dont appreciate the racial calls and that gentlman didnt diserve that serve either.
