Dogs and Raiders fans have a right to be annoyed about the end of this game today

A couple of club legends finishing their careers up, I'm sure fox would have followed them around for a while and got interviews from them, instead sky cut away 5 seconds after the siren to slip an ad break in then a few minutes of chat from the 3 blind mice in the studio rather than hearing from any of the players

Apparently this is the amount of points a team scores, minus the amount they concede. Thus with a 42-point difference between Manly and the Broncos, if Brisbane won by 43, they would finish 2nd. This, according to DD, had McIvor and cohorts thoroughly confused. I can see why.

Just switched on to the end of 40/20. Why does McIvor have a job? He's not a journalist. I knew that there was no Slater or Smith playing. It totally floored McIvor- in fact, despite their team sheet stating there was no Slater or Smith, he said "I'm sure they'll be playing". What an idiot.

That's happened more than once, and it seems to always be the Raiders game which is delayed on a Sunday. As a Raiders fan it pisses me off thoroughly.

They actually gave away the result before 40-20 even started. As soon as the channel 9 game finished, they crossed to the studio. Within 30 seconds McIvor and Stace were discussing the Raiders result (I think this was last season, but it's probably happened more than once with other teams). They didn't even give me a chance to turn it over!!! Of course i'm not gonna watch 40/20 if I know there's a delayed game on straight after it.

Other times Rabbs and co will be giving away the result of the fox game which Sky stupidly delayed for some other crap like Golf or Tennis.

They're a bunch of f*ckwits really.

I have to agree. He's probably a nice guy and all that but he's a poor frontman for a TV show - almost as bad as Tony Johnson for Re Union. Daryl Halligan , on the other hand, is the outstanding member of Sky's kiwi commentary team - he always has something to say that broadens my knowledge of the game.

Anyone else hear Halligan's 'murray mextedism' "I love it when players go down on their knees" in reference to a player sliding on his knee to stop the ball going over the sideline.
