Well I'd imagine that the NZ version only gets the games and footage that Fox in Aussie make available. In other words, our coverage is reliant on the Fox network's product - I'd be surprised to find SkyNZ purchasing product that Fox hasn't also picked up. But if you mean the way the different networks present and market the league product, then you might have a point. Having said that, however, I'm not too sure what they could do differently - other than to get rid of Steven McIvor as your main anchor man.

You're right, we need a new frontman - but McIvor is at SKY for as long as he desires. Need to get rid of Lavina Good, and Halligan as well.

Richie Barnett adds value, as does Betham..and Guttenbiel is okay. Barnett strikes me as someone who could lead the coverage.

If the right person is conducting them, they can be insightful. And I would take on-field interviews over McIvor's rubbish in the studio.

I know Halligan gets a little tongue-tied now and again, and occasionally blurts out incomprehensible gibberish (but then, don't they all), he is knowledgeable about the game and frequently offers insights that his co-commentators miss entirely. Barnett is okay, I guess, Guttenbeil... Betham are passable but they certainly shouldn't get an ex-player as a frontman - that job should fall to a professional journalist who would, most likely, have a good grasp of the english language as well as having a better understanding of the television medium and who knows how to co-ordinate his guests with the topics. McIvor should be retired into some 'behind-the-camera' work.

Sam Ackerman, anyone? Hasn't got the prettiest swede going around but strong knowledge, speaks well and seems to have a pretty good rapport with the players/people in the game.

Yes that was pretty funny, maybe they should have cue cards or some sort of direction and make sure the rehearse their shit before they try live
Poor stacey stick to "Boil Up" one of nz best sports show, maybe 40/20 can get some tips via Maori TV to better their show
