Same here.
What the hell is up with their cross to Halligan and Guttenbeil. Are they doing it over Skype?
Don't quite understand the Halligan-hate here. He's definitely the only Kiwi commentator that knows what he's talking about.
I understand what he says, maybe you have hearing issues?
This would be the same people who think Sonny Bill is public enemy No.1? If so, its not an opinion I would take much notice of.I'm hearing the same as the majority of people around here, who believe him to be an incompetent commentator who makes very few salient observations about the game.
What's so great about on-field interviews? Catching a player minutes after the game is hardly a recipe for insightful and lucid comment. And yes, why Sky thinks we need to cut back to the studio when there can be on-field interviews I don't know. Why were Halligan and Guttenbiel even in Brisbane if they weren't going to use them that way?
No I haven't seen 'em. After last night's performance I doubt anything I see today could give me a rise.Did you see the Sunday papers today Mr Eye? You must've had a chub on looking at the photos on the front..
I doubt anything I see today could give me a rise.
Aren't they the same company? Fox in Australia is Sky in NZ.

Well I'd imagine that the NZ version only gets the games and footage that Fox in Aussie make available. In other words, our coverage is reliant on the Fox network's product - I'd be surprised to find SkyNZ purchasing product that Fox hasn't also picked up. But if you mean the way the different networks present and market the league product, then you might have a point. Having said that, however, I'm not too sure what they could do differently - other than to get rid of Steven McIvor as your main anchor man. They're a sister company of sorts (ie we are the wussy sister). Believe you me, after spending time in Australia, they are not the same. By a long stretch.
