Slash's autobiography

A great read, mate brought it and i've just borrowed it. Very interesting some of the stories he tells of the boys particulary Izzy and offcourse AXL.

This book is there no holding back  seriously some of the tales he tells i pissed myself laughing. He talks about the girls and that AXL is still the best voice he has ever heard and his early years on the bike and then dicovering the guitar.

I've only read up to Appetitie thus far, i wonder if he will talk about that pornstar girlfriend he had, Savanhah? ( spelling).

Awesome read, best autobiography i've read in a long long time, and i mean that without any associated bias. Ten times better then Diamond Daves.

Mentions Ratt, Crue & WASP quite abit too;-)

You bet, mentions alot about Izzy Stradlin. To me he seemed liked the glue in the band, however he really is a puppet and does everything Axl tells him too.

Man they got some sex, and this is before they released an album lol

I would read this purely out of the respect for a bloke that also thinks November rain is a pile of steaming hot dog turd.
Seriously though ..I will put this on my xmas pressy list.

I saw Izzy Stradlin at the Mortdale budapest club in about 92.

Geeze what a fall he took....My band played there 1 year later ...so that tells you how small the joint was.
I also saw the Cockroaches there one upon a time.:D

Couldn't be better than Motley Crue's "The Dirt"

But I look forward to reading it if I can find the time - I usually just read poker books these days.

I remember a few years ago Slash's Snakepit was booked to play Castle Hill Tavern. Was cancelled in the end - they must have realised what it was!

I'm not sure actually - I live at Crows Nest these days.

I did move back into Mum's for a month a few months ago but never went to the Tav bottle shop which is a different building to the Tav itself.

If I had to guess I'd say that no it's not the Tav.

Thats the one.

*A very funny thing occured to slash once when he was asleep, Tommy Lee and Nikki took advantage big time hahahahaha. They took a photo and it was distributed to a few people.

*Slash believes that the reason why he never played like Eddie was because he was the best there was and the others that have copied him will never be as good as him.

* VR were going to be called simply Revolver according to slash, but Weiland wanted black velvet revolver but Slash said it was too long and he didn't want another name similar to STP

* Slash use to work at a video store when younger. He and a mate when quiet would put pornos on lol

Your website is wrong.

I even remember what I wore...it was tragic.
