Anyone interested in this game that comes out in about 10 days or so? Looks like Grand Theft Auto with Asians

Looks absolutely epic, always though GTA lacked a fighting system and this looks to have fixed that up. I want this, but will probably wait for GTA5 to be released first.

This game is going to suprise a lot of people... and I am really happy for United Front games after all that the dev cycle has endured for this game to come out...

I heard the guys at Gametrailers say that this game seems to have found a perfect balance between GTA and Saints Row in terms of tone and things to do...

Will definitely be grabbing this, one thing that bugs me though is that going by the trailers I've seen everyone speaks English, despite being in China, but I can get past that. Hopefully this will tide me over until GTA V, and eventually Watch Dogs.

maybe you'll ahve to see if the jap/hk version works on pal systems and import the chinese language one. you may miss out on subtitles though so it'd be authentic but may not actually be practical to play the game

The only reason I won't do that is because the story would be completely lost, I would prefer if it was like the Yakuza series just with Chinese replacing Japanese as the language, but as I said I can get past it because the rest of the game looks like good fun.

LOL that option will probably be in there to turn on anyway... makes it feel authentic...

Because lets face it there is nothing more authentic then a game set in China with China characters and the voice acting of Emma Stone and Tom Wilkinson...

If there is an option for me to get the characters speaking Chinese I will enjoy this game so much more.

Unless they start saying pok gai and gong tai do (sp lol) then I won't understand/care.

It looks alright but I'm waiting for reports after it has been released. I was a bit let down with Mafia 2 after getting hyped.

Watching the demo something looked..off. Could be the physics of the bike/car or the character animations i dunno looks a bit meh. Didnt help that the guy showing it couldn't play for sh*t

I liked Mafia 2... but it was overhyped as some kind of game to take on GTA but the open world was more like LA Noire, nothing to do...

There looks to be a tonne to do in this game, has anybody watched the 11 minute Police Investigation video that was released? you actually have to investigate a string of serial killings as a sidequest...

Ohh and Parra i hope they have that option... I often did that with Assassins Creed, popped on the Italian speaking setting, set of headphones... its the closest we will get to going back in time...

Whats everybody thinking review score wise?
Honestly i am thinking 8-9's

I am expecting a solid 8 BUT wouldnt be suprised if its given 9's... There is something about the world they have built it looks alive like a rockstar open world and not dead like volitions worlds in Saints Row...

Maybe i have high expectations, but the videos iv been watching give me great hope for this one

I'd say 8s are likely, but reviews will have no influence over me. I enjoyed the other True Crime games, so chances are I'll enjoy this one as well since it looks much better.

a 7.5 (metacritic 75 - so i have no idea) score came in from official Xbox magazine, so there is the little bit of "early review conspiracy theory" going on but like Parra Pride said no influence as i think it looks golden...

By the way... How much does this game being a financial and critical success really show up Activision for the hacks that they are!!! even if i wasnt excited for the game itself i'd be rooting for it to be big just to show them up.
