This poll is a joke. It's an insult to even categorise Slipknot's rubbish as music.

can Slipknot PLEASE just do their conclusively logical dance and RnB album and DIE already....Seriously, listen to Mastodon if you want some rock-heavy metal that actually has talent and originality.

Queen because I hate Slipknot.

Their music sucks, and so do they.

I also heard one of them ate a turd. Shawn I think his name was?

I love these polls. The current score is Queen 90%, Slipknot 9%.

Who's the other 1%?

Sorry to drag this one up. But I had to say Slipknot are the only band I have ever seen who are capable of bringing a 100,000-strong festival crowd, previously in uncontrollable mosh-mode, to a complete standstill (except for the 100 pre-pubescent sheep down the front in Slipknot hoodies).

Yep, Reading Festival, England, 2002, Slipknot came late afternoon. The majority of people I spoke to all said they were interested to give them a listen and see what it was all about.
3 songs into the set the entire crowd was just standing there in disbelief at how utterly contrived they are, and devoid of anything remotely resembling musicianship.

Now I am totally against people throwing things at bands on stage, no matter how bad they are. But the group of guys just to the right of us who were hurling plastic bottles, oranges, tomatoes, anything they could find and watching how close they could get to the band, from a distance of about 30-40 metres, was far more entertaining than anything happening onstage.

Including the band "fighting" each other.
