His catching under pressure improved enormously last year. In fact, he is as reliable as anyone now. His tackling has improved a lot too but sometimes he seems to be one step behind in cover.

I agree mate. Some of his try savers were impressive last year. That one he made on Kini at the backend of 2024 was really good. Definitely wouldn't have made it earlier in his career, let alone earlier that season

One thing is for sure - this is absolutely the final year that Sloan will survive on potential alone. He either sinks or swims in '25.
I hope he swims as I had high hopes for him a few years back but I'm not confident......
