Up there amongst my favourite players.

Was a massive loss to Saints when he retired.
As Masters admitted, the club didn't replace him & we suffered accordingly.

While not doubting the courage of any of the players listed, but game has changed significantly when you now have wingers bigger than forwards. While there is still a place for the smaller sized player, the game is now played by monster athletes that have a 5 hit out mentality or system that is drilled into them rather than footballers that play what's in front of them.
