"James Tedesco could not hide the smile from his face even if he wanted to at Concord Oval today.

The sight of Tedesco doing some light running with the NRL squad was one of the main highlights of the first day of training for 2013."

Great news for him, a real talent when he was coming up through the Toyota Cup - The injury in Round 1, 2012 was horrible. I hope he can return to full fitness and be back at fullback in full-time.

with any luck, he'll get to play at least half the season at fullback. I don't think I can handle too much more of Moltzen at fullback.

I think Potter will give Meaney a shot before the Moltzen failure gets re visited.

Doubt it. Moltzen will start at fullback fellas. But Tedesco will knock him out eventually. Thank God. He's a star.

Spotted Tedesco with his family at Wests Leagues last week. He looks bigger and fit real nice guy I can't wait to see him back in the team.

A fit and firing James Tedesco is our best option at fullback in my opinion. This is one guy I will be keeping an eye on this pre-season. I, like a lot of fellow Tigers fans I knock about with, feel Moltzen is a fringe first grader at best who is a stop-gap measure. Adds depth to the squad covering 1, 6 or 7.

Here we go again, read on Tigers website that Groat has injured his toe at training & is out "indefinitely"

Broken toe or ligament damage is a weird "indefinite". You would think it would be playable within a few weeks but not 100% for maybe a couple of months. At the very least I don't think we were going to be relying on Groat for the prop rotation. Woods, Galloway and BMM should suffice with Blair being thrown up there when needed. We did actually buy a prop in the offseason too (Gavet?) so we should be covered.

Tedesco looks a lot bigger then last year in the training pics, both in height and weight. Really hoping that he has an injury free season, he could be the outside back x factor that we've been missing.

Yeah unfortunate, it's apparently a full toe reconstruction and he's out for 4-5 months. Was looking primed a big year.
